Getting started
What does CardSqueeze do?
CardSqueeze helps you track credit card benefits, record what you use, see upcoming resets, and compare tracked benefit value with annual fees. You select your cards from the catalog and manage their benefits in the app.
Do I need a bank login or credit card number?
No. You do not connect bank accounts or enter card numbers. Select a card by name from the catalog, then add a nickname if you want.
Which cards are supported?
Browse our Supported Cards page to search by card or issuer and filter personal and business cards.
Can I track two copies of the same card?
Yes. Add them separately and give each a nickname. Each copy has its own benefit history. This organizes cards on your device; it does not create a shared account or sync between people.
Benefits and reminders
Does the app know when I use a benefit?
No. CardSqueeze does not read your transactions. Mark a benefit as used yourself, or mark it missed if you did not use it.
Can I fill in benefits from earlier in the year?
Yes. Open a benefit’s history and update earlier periods. Earlier unmarked periods can appear as missed, including when you add a card partway through the year.
What does the break-even marker mean?
It compares the benefit value you have recorded as used with the card’s annual fee. The Home summary combines your cards. This is tracked benefit value, not a guarantee of cash savings or a complete measure of a card’s value.
How do I turn on reminders?
In Settings, allow notifications and enable Remind me before reset. Reminders cover unused, visible benefits with known reset dates and are grouped by day.
When will reminders arrive?
Annual and six-month benefits offer 7-, 14-, and 30-day reminder options; you can select multiple options. Monthly benefits use 3 days, and quarterly benefits use 7 days. Reminders are scheduled around 9 a.m.; device settings can affect delivery. Open the app each benefit period to refresh the upcoming schedule.
Why did I not receive a reminder?
Check that notifications are allowed in both the app and your phone settings, that the benefit is visible and unused, and that it has a known reset date. Open the app to refresh the schedule. Focus, Do Not Disturb, and device battery settings can also affect notifications.
Free and Premium
What is included for free?
Track up to two cards, record benefit history, view annual-fee progress, and use benefit reminders.
What does Premium add?
Premium lets you add more cards and use the Best Card recommender to compare rewards by spending category. Current prices, billing periods and any eligible offers are shown in the app before purchase.
How do I restore Premium?
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the same Apple or Google store account used for the purchase. You need an internet connection. Restoring purchases restores eligible Premium access; it does not restore local benefit history.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Manage it through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to subscribe. Uninstalling CardSqueeze or clearing app data does not cancel a subscription. Access normally continues through the paid period, subject to the store’s terms.
Privacy and support
Where are my cards and history stored?
They are stored locally on your device. CardSqueeze does not provide cloud sync. Device backups or transfers may include app data depending on your operating system settings. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
In Settings, Clear benefit history removes recorded usage while keeping your cards. Delete all cards and history removes both. These actions do not cancel subscriptions or erase provider-held purchase records. Contact support for privacy requests.
How do I report a bug or request a card?
Use Report a Bug in Settings, or email [email protected]. Include the app version, phone type and what happened. For a card request, include its name and issuer. Please do not send card numbers, bank credentials or passwords.
